DESCRIPTION:Pokémon Pinball Tournament \nWe are open for BOTH open pinball AND the Stern Army Pokémon Pinball Tournament today. They will both happen at the same time. You do not have to play in the tournament to be here for open pinball. We have plenty of space and games so it will not be a problem. \n5:00PM Doors Open\n6:00PM Tournament Starts \nThis is a Stern Army & IFPA Approved Tournament\nThis is going to be part of Open Pinball on Friday — No additional costs or tournament fee\n$25 Admission charge (+sales tax) on Fridays\nAll 100+ machines on Free Play \nTournament Details:\nFriday June 19th\n5PM Doors Open\n6PM Tournament Starts\n9PM Estimated Finish time of qualifying that everyone plays\n11:30PM Estimated Finish Time\nSoda is $1 can\nBottled Water is free\nIFPA approved\nNEW PLAYERS WELCOME\nWalk in Registration for the tournament. Just be here before 6PM\nAll 100+ Pinball Machines may be in this tournament. We are open to the public this day and not everyone will be playing in the tournament. It is just something fun that we do and we have lots of space and games for everyone. \nTournament Format:\nNEW PLAYERS WELCOME!\nNo tournament experience necessary. You just play pinball. We will show you how it works.\nThis tournament is free with paid admission. \nQualify Format: (Everyone plays 8 games)\n4 Rounds of 2 games per round with the same 4 people in your group\nOne Modern and One Classic Game per round\n7/5/3/1 scoring per game\nRandom seeding to start\, swiss pairings thereafter\nTop half of Players with the most points after 8 games make playoffs. Actual number of players advancing to playoffs will be announced before tournament starts but its roughly half the players.\nIf you do not make the finals your tournament is over but you can still play the 100+ pinball machines on free play \nFinals Format\nFinals will be a 3 strike group knockout (4 player group 3rd & 4th get a strike\, 3 player group only 3rd gets a strike)\nThere is no advantage to qualify 1st or last with this finals format\nOnce we are at a position where someone can win the tournament the final game(s) will be on Pokémon \nPrivate Parties at District 82 Pinball\nHave District 82 Pinball host your Private Event\, Team Building Event\, or Birthday Party!
