Skill Shot Control
Skip the risky spiral skill shot into the pops — it’s usually low value and chaotic.
Instead:
- Soft plunge to a cradle without hitting switches
- Take your time to aim for the lit row on the left (yellow target)
- Open the visor immediately
Controlled starts lead to controlled scoring.
If you’re going for the vortex-style skill shot, plunge nearly full and release at the middle tier — but only if you’re comfortable with the feed.
Multiball Strategy
Jack-Bot multiball is all about the eyes.
- Focus on hitting the eyes back-to-back — a Super Jackpot is worth roughly the next three regular jackpots combined.
- Always start a Super Jack-Bot with the left eye first. Doing so keeps the right eye lit for another super. Starting with the right eye turns both off.
- If you drain quickly in multiball without scoring a Jack-Bot, don’t panic-flip. The visor remains open briefly for a restart opportunity.
During Mega Visor, if a ball gets trapped behind the visor, hitting it scores a “Dirty Pool” and instantly lights Mega Jack-Bot.
Casino Run & “Cheating” Tips
Jack-Bot is famous for its hidden advantages:
- Mash the flashing Extra Ball button during casino games and Casino Run to try to improve results or remove a bomb.
- During a Casino Run spin, hold both flippers for a chance at a Cow (Special) or Mortal Kombat 3 symbol (Extra Ball).
- Cheating or bomb defuse works only once per Casino Run — always cash out after successfully removing a bomb.
Before your first Casino Run, go for Double or Nothing. That shot also relights the game saucer ramp, helping your progression.
Bonus & Tournament Notes
In tournament settings:
- Specials can be worth 500 million
- Extra Balls can be worth 200 million — even those earned via Casino Run
