District 82 is a Free Play Pinball Arcade. All the games are set on Free Play so you don't use quarters, tokens or a card reader. You pay an admission charge for entry, get a wristband, and play as much pinball as you want while you are here. You can come and go with the wristband so you don't have to stay inside the whole time.
There is parking in front of the building located at:

With the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed at District 82 Pinball.
District 82 is a huge pinball tournament destination for players all over the country and world. We have our machines set up for 'Tournament Rules' instead of factory settings. This means instead of an extra ball you get points. Instead of a free game you get points. The features of the games may be less random and more linear to make game play from person to person on the same machine more similar for all players so one person doesn't get a random multiball (valuable) and the next person gets a 2X bonus (blah).
You will also notice the games are set up slightly harder with out lanes set to maximum opening and pitch set slightly steeper. Don't worry the games are all on Free Play so if you have a quick game just push start again and give it another go!
Once you get used to playing games at District 82 the typical location games you play elsewhere will seem easier since they are set up for long game times and not competition.
