One Ball Tournament Format:
$30 for a lot of pinball play from 5PM-10PM. Door prizes, trophies, all you can drink soda, 90 machines to play. Play More Pinball!
This is a 1 night tournament that will not be combined with anything else and their is no side tournament.
This will be group match play with swiss style seeding. Each Round will consist of your group of 4 (or 3) people playing 3 different machines. The different banks of machines will be pre-set but the computer will randomly assign which bank each group is playing each round. You will only play 1 ball on each machine multi-match play style. Multi-match play style means that after player 1 plays 1st ball on the 1st machine they immediately move to the 2nd machine and play that game while the 2nd player steps up to the 1st machine and plays their game. Less waiting–More Pinball. You will then get a score of 7/5/3/1 on each machine (or 7/4/1 if only 3 in your group). Then you add up your scores. The top player in your group on that round will be the person with the highest combined score, 2nd with the 2nd highest, etc. Any ties will be broken by whom was best on the 3rd machine in the group. Then for the overall tournament you will receive 7/5/3/1 points for that round based on your finishing position. Then, we will continue this for 9 rounds. The winner of the overall tournament is the person with the most points. This whole tournament is direct play so no playoff.
