About Tilt’n Tuesdays
Anyone can join us for Tilt’n Tuesdays. This is an organized pinball tournament held twice per month. This is not open pinball, which happens Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Everyone on Tuesday night competes in the organized tournament, but you can still play anything you want:
- During practice (5–6 PM)
- In between rounds
- After the tournament is over
We typically close around 11:00 PM.
The $28 fee covers both the main and side tournaments, all game play, bottled water, and coffee.
Children 13 and under with an adult are $20 for the night.
This is an individual event, not a team event.
To register, use the REGISTER button on this page or send an email to [email protected] saying you would like to play on Tuesday night.
Tournament Format
Main Event
Doors Open: 5:00 PM
Check in at the front desk and play anything you want on over 100 pinball machines and video games.
Qualifying – 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- 4 rounds of group match play
- 2 games per round (8 total games)
- Groups of 4 players
- One classic and one modern game per round
Scoring per game:
1st – 7 points
2nd – 5 points
3rd – 3 points
4th – 1 point
After 4 rounds, the top 16 players advance to finals.
Automatic tiebreakers are used, but 16th place will be played out if needed.
Players who do not make finals are welcome to stay and play until closing (around 11:00 PM).
Finals – Top 16 (9:00 PM to 11:00 PM)
Finals use a multi-match format so things move quickly. Higher seeds choose either the game bank or play order.
Top 4 players receive trophies.
Each tournament awards WPPR points, contributing to both Wisconsin State and International IFPA. rankings.
Side Tournament
One classic machine is used as the side tournament qualifier. Everyone gets one attempt with no practice.
- Play anytime between 5:00 PM and the end of Round 4
- Top 8 scores advance to finals
- Finals are a 3-strike knockout on classic machines
- All finalists start even
If a finalist cannot play, the next highest qualifier takes their place.
More than 80 players:
IFPA rules require expanding finals by at least 10% of attendance. Finals spots will increase accordingly.
