Tilt’n Tuesdays Pinball Tournament
Play Over 100 Pinball Machines on Free Play!
Join us for Tilt’n Tuesdays, a fun and welcoming pinball tournament held twice per month at District 82 Pinball — the largest pinball arcade in Wisconsin. We feature 100+ pinball machines from the 1960s through today, all set on FREE PLAY — no quarters or tokens needed.
This is a stand-alone event each night, so you can join us whenever it fits your schedule. New players and all skill levels are welcome!
Event Details
- Admission: $28 per player (covers all costs for the night)

Children 13 and under with an adult: $20

- Arcade Opens at: 5:00 PM (all-you-can-play pinball)
- Tournament Starts: 6:00 PM
- Typical Closing Time: Around 11:00 PM

New Players – Start Here!
Tilt’n Tuesdays is an organized pinball tournament, but it’s designed to be fun, relaxed, and not stressful. Everyone participates in the tournament, but you can also:
- Practice from 5–6 PM on all games
- Play what you want between rounds
- Play freely after the tournament if you don’t make finals
If you’re new, I’ll walk you through everything when you arrive. You’re here to have a great time!
The $28 admission includes:
- Main tournament
- Side tournament
- All gameplay
- Bottled water, Soda & coffee
This is an individual event (not a team tournament).
Main Tournament Format
Schedule
- 5:00 PM – Doors open & check-in
- 6:00 PM – Main tournament begins
Qualifying (6:00–9:00 PM)
- 4 rounds of group match play
- 2 games per round (1 classic + 1 modern)
- 8 total games per player
- Groups of 3 or 4 players per game
Scoring per game:
- 1st place – 7 points
- 2nd place – 5 points
- 3rd place – 3 points
- 4th place – 1 point
After each round, players are regrouped by cumulative score and assigned new games and opponents.
All 100+ machines are on free play, and you may play anything you want between rounds.
Finals (Top 16 Players | Approx. 9:00–11:00 PM)
- Top 16 players advance to finals
- Multi-match playoff format to keep things moving
- Higher seeds choose:

Game bank or Play Order (1st-4th)

If a finalist chooses not to play, the next highest qualifier moves up.
🏆 Trophies awarded to the top 4 finishers
🌎 Earn WPPR points and IFPA Wisconsin & International rankings
Automatic tiebreakers are used by the software.
If needed, 16th place will be determined by a one-game playoff on a fast classic machine chosen by the tournament director.
Players not making finals are welcome to stay and play until closing.
Side Tournament (Classic Machines)
- One classic machine is designated as the side tournament qualifier
- One attempt, no practice
- Must be played between 5:00 PM and the end of Round 4
Side Tournament Finals
- Top 8 or 12 scores advance (tournament director will let you know before the start)
- 3-strike knockout format
- All classic machines
- No advantage to qualifying position — everyone starts even
If a finalist can’t play, the next highest score moves up.
Large Attendance Adjustment
If attendance exceeds 80 players, IFPA rules require expanding finals:
- 81–90 players → Top 9 advance
- 91–100 players → Top 10 advance
- And so on
